TULIP TIME RUN BENEFITS PATHWAY’S OF MICHIGAN

HOLLAND, MI – Wednesday, March 5, 2008. The 2008 Tulip Time Festival (www.tuliptime.com ) announces the annual Tulip Time Run on Saturday, May 3, 2008, benefiting Pathways of Michigan. Kicking off the first day of the Tulip Time Festival will be a 5K, 8K, or 1K Kids Fun Run. Beginning at Christ Memorial Church, 595 Graafschap Rd. Holland, MI 49423, this family fun event will get your heart rate up and please your senses as you wind through the Historic District of downtown Holland, filled with thousands of beautiful blooming tulips and flowering trees.

A portion of this year’s proceeds will go towards Pathways of Michigan, whose mission is to promote healthy dynamics for all families. This is done through a wide range of services in the areas of child welfare, clinical, early childhood, and prevention. Pathways work is based on the belief that the healthy development of a child is dependent upon both a nurturing and capable family as well as a supportive and interconnected community.

$10.00 day of race (May 3rd)

•Family Rate: Full price for 2 individuals, then $10 each additional participant, up to a total of 5 runners with the same address. Mail in registration only.

Registration forms can also be picked up at the following locations: Tulip Time Festival Office, West Michigan Community Bank, Running Circles, MVP Sports Club, Pathways of Michigan and various other locations. This years Tulip Time Run logo was provided by Yolanda Gonzalez. Yolanda’s artwork is also featured on the 2008 Tulip Time poster.
