Join STAR 108 and the Fun in the Sun band for this family fun event. Playing Jimmy Buffet, island music and other summer fun songs the band is an energetic interactive celebration. With great music, a horn section and a pan steel drum audience members of all ages, can participate in hula hoop contests, limbo contests, and more.

Founded in 1993 by a couple of Calvin College (Grand Rapids, MI) grads who desired some more danger and adventure in their lives, River City Improv performs short-form Improvisational comedy based on audience suggestions. Their style of clean, wholesome humor and witty Improv is similar to that seen on ABC’s Whose Line is it Anyway? They have also studied long-form Improv with Improv Olympic in Chicago. They create shows that meld together different styles of Improv to provide an evening of gut-wrenching, roll-on-the-floor, rip-roaring fun. Approximately 60 minutes.

The Mavis Garner Bed and Breakfast is not the sort of place you’d find just off a freeway or even on a map. That’s because they get most of their customers when cars are disabled after they hit the pothole on Main Street. When reporter Arthur Lyman goes looking for Pulitzer Prize winner Lillith Mansfield, he finds himself in the hole. Deciding to do an expose on the “scam” perpetrated by the town, he checks in. During his stay he’s fined eight times, dragged across town by the local watchdog and fired from his job. What else could he possibly do but fall in love with one of the proprietors!
